Ottica Veneta Eyewear from the Mountains of Italy represents the essence of Italian luxury, creating a rare blend of old world craftmanship with the latest in Italian fashion.
From its inception in 2002, founder Riccardo Lamon, a native of Northern Italy, established a small consortium of families located in the Veneto region who were committed to maintaining the high standards that have made Italian eyewear synonymous with quality. By guaranteeing that 100% of the production stay in Italy, Lamon and his consortium began a new brand called Ottica Veneta Eyewear from the Mountains of Italy.
In 2004, Ottica Veneta began production of its luxury collection, Sospiri. Sospiri optical frames and sunglasses are defined by their superior use of Austrian crystals, light metals, mazzuccheli acetates and unique artistic embellishments. Sospiri is exclusively sold to a select number of fine opticians and boutiques throughout the world from Ottica Veneta's U.S. headquarters, with major distribution channels in North America, Asia, Eastern & Western Europe and the Middle East.
